(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Porn performer Mary Carey brought her “Bullets not Boobs” crusade to Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard this morning, carrying a picket sign that said “Honk if you * natural breasts” and posing for pictures on the sidewalk in front of an Armed Forces recruiting office.
“Bullets not Boobs” opposes the new Defense Department policy of offering free boob jobs to women in the U.S. Armed Services, and offers $1000 in spa services and lingerie to any woman who was honorably discharged from the military after the offer of free plastic surgery was publicized. (According to the Bullets not Boobs Website (linked in the box to the right), “Proof of both honorable discharge and natural breasts will have to be provided.”)
Kick Ass Pictures President Mark Kulkis was on the scene, handing out flyers with a New Yorker story about the free plastic surgery. Kulkis said that the turnout from the mainstream press was large: “Every TV station in town, AP, Reuters, KNX radio, and Noticias.” Behind him, Carey was recording a joke video at the request of the KABC-TV news crew.
