Dave Cummings, Porn Star/Producer/Director – My personal top five sex-related favorites include (in no particular order):
1. The annual January week-long trip to Las Vegas for the Adult Video News (AVN) Adult Internet Show (see AVNOnline.com), followed by the AVN Expo and the AVN Awards Show (see AVN.com), and all the fun surrounding these spectacular events. Some of the unofficial parties are awesome and I usually get to experience some “action” at some of them, especially where girls are posing for adult photos and a professional is needed to supply some “wood” for the shots.
While in Las Vegas, I also sometimes get the opportunity to shoot sex scenes for my three series – check out the 40 box covers at the link to “Filmography” at the bottom of the first page in the “Guest’s Section” of my No pop-ups DaveCummings.com; also on that same page is a link to some of the group of “Dave’s Girl’s” which provides an array of stimulating wanking/jerking/whacking/masturbatory visuals of some of the girls. The Las Vegas experience is both a vacation and a working opportunity. I absolutely enjoy seeing the many other folks in the Adult Industry, and being able to leisurely visit and interact with them; and, the fans and attendees at the events are a delight to meet. I have so much fun there that I run out of hours in the day to do all the plethora of available offerings.
2. Appearing on Playboy Television. I’ve been on Playboy’s Night Calls program a number of times starring Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath (who also star on Playboy XM Radio where I’ve been their guest a couple of times, and was almost a substitute co-host when one of the girls was sick last month–unfortunately for me, I couldn’t make it due to a commitment in San Diego and the driving time to the Playboy Studio, but I wish I could have!); I’ve also been on Night Calls 411, probably a dozen times, with Crystal Knight and her co-hosts Flower, Tera Patrick, and Nikki Nova; also, I’ve been featured in one segment of Sexcetera and had a small role in another one of their programs; and, I’ve been on sex Court twice, once as a Plaintiff and once as a Defendant.
Although it’s a somewhat long day when filming television programs, Playboy is a class act that treats their guests like pure gold. As you can probably tell, I thoroughly enjoy every appearance on Playboy Television. Recently, during the live filming of a Night Calls program themed around 1970’s Porn, I played the role of a “rain-coater” in the back row of a porn theater watching 70’s porn. It was difficult keeping my eyes focused on the screen, mainly because gorgeous girls were always nearby tempting me. The applicable “rule” that night was that I couldn’t be seen directly touching my penis, nor could any of the luscious girls touch it. At one point, one of the four cameras zoomed in as the girl sitting in the seat next to me had her leg draped across mine and her breast rubbing up against me, whereupon she pulled my raincoat open to expose me with a full erection; after a bit, I acted like an embarrassed rain-coater and pulled the coat back over my penis and continued watching the movie while munching on popcorn. A number of the girls and crew started giggling and I had all I could do to keep from bursting out of character and laughing, too!
The Producer, Jamie Battista, was full of creative ideas, as he Always is for Night Calls, Night Calls 411, Private Calls (starring Aurora Snow), and Lex in the City (starring Lexington Steele)—fortunately for Playboy’s millions of viewers, Jamie is the genius who superbly producers all four of these acclaimed live programs for Playboy Television. During the second segment of the live filming of the recent 90-minute Night Calls show (we get two 90-second commercial breaks during the live broadcast–being live, there’s no room for mistakes!), Jamie directs me to get out of my seat and wander towards the popcorn machine for a refill. While reaching for the popcorn, one of the many girls dropped to her knees to make it look like she was giving me head; though simulated, it felt great, even though I had to constantly make certain that the camera couldn’t see past the motion of her head bobbing up and down while going in and out of my unbuttoned raincoat—at one point, I moaned and pulled a tissue out of my coat pocket to make it look like I had cum and was wiping off the ejaculate; Nicole, the “head” movie theater attendee, knew I had faked it but some of the cast and crew thought I might indeed have really blown a load during live programming (I didn’t, though–whew!).
During the final 30-minute segment, Guest and Porn Legend and Hall of Fame Inductee Christy Canyon poured more popcorn into my cup, one that had a hole in it which I slid over my penis so that the girls could start taking pieces of popcorn out of my cup; yup, at one point, my erect penis poked through the remaining popcorn for the girls and the audience to gasp at–I was, after all, a rain-coater! Ron Jeremy, like Christy Canyon also a Legend/Hall of Fame guest on the show, was having a ball during the filming (and afterwards in the dressing rooms?).
Two interesting aspects about that Playboy appearance: one, the rain-coat was actually a 70-80’s Army raincoat, so I felt right at home given my 25 years in the U.S. Army prior to entering the Adult Industry; and, two, the stories about Ron Jeremy’s lust for buffets was verified that night when I saw him scoffing up left-over food to take to his car for the drive home! Ron’s a super-nice guy and good friend, but I’d hate to be paying his food bills!
A couple of week later, I attended a Playboy Television party celebrating the 100th Night Calls 411 show. Porn celebrities and others were all over the place, everyone was happy, and Playboy Television rocked again that night! Since it was Super-Producer Jamie Battista’s last show for Playboy Television, I overheard many of the attendees also paying tribute to his absolutely spectacular contributions to Playboy over the years. Jamie is a talented, hard-working, and gifted Producer who is well liked and admired; I overheard many sincere comments about his leadership abilities, and how morale and program success soared on Jamie’s watch. Were I teaching a Master’s level course on Personnel Management, he’d be a perfect case management study/example of how to do everything right! I bet Playboy Television will miss him a lot. I’ve been to a lot of Playboy parties, and every one of them has been magnificent, including this one! They certainly have classy people, great music and food, and know how to make things elegant!
3. Appearing in Wildlife Productions filmings. I’ve been fortunate to have been in a lot of Wildlife’s films. Besides a number of their features and other productions, I’ve also hosted their very popular “Screw My Wife, Please” series (see the boxcovers at WildlifeXXX.com), which I started hosting duties beginning with Vol 6, now up to Vol 43 which we just recently completed. I’m also the host of all five of their “Screw My Husband, Please” series. Usually filming the last Wednesday of every month, I do the San Diego to Los Angeles drive the preceding day so that I can stop by and coordinate with Bobby Rinaldi, one of the finest Directors I’ve ever worked for, enjoy a nice dinner, do some jogging, and get a good night’s sleep in a quality hotel. I normally arrive at location around 9:30 AM and work as the host in all five scenes (yes, sometimes, even I get some sex fun in the scenes!), usually getting done around 10-11PM and then driving back to San Diego. I have a ball on Wildlife’s sets. The efficiency, friendships, kidding, and all-around fun makes it an enjoyable booking for me. I always go home with a smile on my face!
4. Enjoying sex with “Groupie” girls and swingers. Yes, I have some groupies, some Very horny and beautiful ones! Usually they are college age girls who just want to have sex with a real porn star, and often they admit to the fantasy of having sex with someone older like me. For some, it’s a one-time curiosity adventure; and, for others, it gets repeated whenever they are again in the mood and our schedules mesh. I enjoy it and place it in my “top five” because they are so fan-like, refreshingly curious and happy, built like beauty personified, sincere and respectful, and they come with “no strings attached”, no drama, no possessiveness, and no bullshit. Some even bring me chocolate chip cookies! Most of the time, we agree to a couple of sex-filled hours together, not a “date” so-to-speak. When we finish, my rule is that they go home! I love groupie girls!
I also sometimes meet with swingers, usually couples where the husband or boyfriend just wants to see his significant other getting “It” from a porn star; sometimes, the guy will join in, but most of the time they simply watch or take photos of their wives/girlfriends with me. As is the case with everyone I have sex with outside of the Adult Industry, condoms are an absolute must and I allow no exceptions to this rule. The only thing different with swingers versus groupies is that I sometimes socialize with swingers in a non-swinging environment (I’ve even attended a kindergarten graduation for one couple’s five-year old; and, I’ve done the birthday party and anniversary “thing” with others). Besides mandatory condoms, I also follow my self-imposed rule of never having sex with a woman behind her guy’s back. Actually, I plan to increase the numbers of groupie girls if I ever decide to retire from performing in another 10-15 years!
5. Filming sex scenes for my “Knee Pad Nymphos”, “Sex Fun”, and/or “Sugardaddy” series. Yup, this activity is also in my top five! Normally, I film them in or near San Diego, with the inside sex happening at my 3-bedroom condo. The BJ series is easy to do, and takes little set-up and preparation time. The regular boy/girl scenes take longer, of course. I’ve released 40 full-length copyrighted videos thus far, have footage already shot for 3-4 others, and am almost always agreeable to doing additional BJ scenes (why not, since I’m the one getting the BJ!). Even during quiet times of the shooting year, I book girls for BJ scenes; to make the drive to San Diego worth their while, I normally push the girls to line up more than one shoot or be otherwise coming to town to visit friends, Mexico, or tourist sites.
Ok, those are the ones in my top five. It goes without saying that I enjoy my job. I feel very lucky to be a porn star—after all, I AM indeed old, overweight, bald, wrinkled, etc. I also well understand that, were it not for some Producer paying the girl to “work with” me, I’d be getting all or most of my sex from my right hand. I love my job!
