(LAS VEGAS, NV) — The 10th Annual Exotic Dancer, Club Owners Expo was in town, and I finally booked a spot at the convention to meet all those who came to promote their businesses. It’s rare that I have the opportunity to visit “sin city” with industry professionals so as expected we hit the town, making the ever sweet Cheetah Club one our must see spots!

Visiting with two from guys from TempleOfEcstacy.com and a Vegas local, we were treated very well by the dancers and the club owner himself. He took the time to talk with me about the club, how to dance there, and what papers are needed. Getting the permit to dance in the United States is a completely different ball game than in Canada. Even the bouncers and waitresses needed a sheriff’s card in order to be employed in a strip club!

* A sheriff’s card can be obtained at the Metro Police Department, Work Card Division. Call (702) 229-3271

Being my 4th or 5th visit, I was familiar with the club’s lean layout, consisting of a stage against the right wall with two poles, a long bar with an additional dancing area for the girls and two decent sized VIP areas.

The time was at least 4:00am so finding seats close to the stage and center was easy, however the club was still very busy for the hour it was. Shortly after sitting down and ordering a drink, I headed to the trusty bank machine and ladies room and I was shocked at the small size it was. I was told this was the only washroom, for female customers and dancers, which I must have misunderstood since it has only one toilet and girls whom I was talking with barely spoke English.

As I walked back to my seat, I noticed this beautiful dancer sitting on my buddy’s lap. Knowing he was a waste of her time (no cash) I asked if she would mind dancing for me. Without any hesitation, we headed to the back wall of the club to their VIP are for three songs. ($100.00 USD). As she danced, she slowly moaned and moved her body close to mine. Lifting my shirt, our skin touched; she whispered into my ear how much she would love to take me home. I felt as though she gave me a dance just as she would a man, but with a few changes in moves. This was my second VIP dance there (over time) and I must say the dancers know just how to make you feel like a king (or queen in my case).

The Art of Exotic dancing is to create a fantasy, which is what you (or me) are paying for. I gave her two thumbs up and a $20.00 tip. I may have given her my card too, but I’m not sure. Being about 5:00am you can bet I was tired and ready to retreat happily to my hotel!

Lounging back in my chair, watching the girls crawl over my friends, I sipped my drink with memories of dancing myself. I wonder how long these girls have been dancing and how long they will ‘last’. Dancing isn’t easy, however it can be a great job if you know exactly how to make your costumer feel like the king (and queen) they are!
