Having lived in Saudi Arabia for two years while an Army Officer serving as the J-1, Director of Personnel for Department of Defense, I somewhat understand the cultural terrain in that part of our world. It’s not easy for those who are over there fighting to eliminate terrorism and preserve the freedoms that we sometimes have nonchalantly assumed and taken for granted.
Besides the religious and cultural aspects, there are lots of military, political, and sociological unknowns for everyone to constantly take into account. The people serving there on behalf of humanity and the need to restore peace on Earth deserve our continuing prayers and comprehensive support as they endure hardships and danger so that we may enjoy freedom.
I’m still numb from what happened to America on September 11th. The lost lives, injuries, children who lost their Dad/Mom, spouses and relatives who lost loved ones, the physical damage and devastation, and the psychological impacts have been heavy. I think I now know what personal depression feels like, and I have a difficult time accepting what’s happened to our great United States of America, indeed to all peaceful human beings on Earth. Terrorism must be totally and forever stopped.
There are so many heroes from the Sep 11th attacks, and we all owe them our admiration and thanks. Many of us have been affected in various ways. Personally, I recall my Dad, a firefighter who fell through a collapsing roof fighting a fire back when I was a teenager; it permanently disabled him. My younger brother, recently retired as the Fire Chief of a medium-large city and now working in a Federal assignment in Washington D.C, had driven past the Pentagon just minutes before the plane hit it—-in my Army career, I’ve landed in helicopters at the Pentagon’s chopper pad near that same spot many times. On Sep 10th, my 37-year old daughter received a phone call from a long-lost former high school classmate-it was the first time she had heard from the other young lady in 19 years, and they chatted for almost three hours; sadly, the classmate is now among the still missing who worked at the World Trade Center. I filed a report with the FBI a couple of days after the tragedies because I think, but am not certain, that I saw the terrorist named Mohammad Atta in a San Diego Barber Shop (I bet you’re laughing about me, an almost bald guy, going to a barbershop; but, the hair still stubbornly grows on the back of my neck); when I mentioned my suspicion to the proprietor, he immediately recalled seeing the same terrorist-I notified the FBI because Atta had not previously been identified as ever having been in San Diego. So many people were affected by this terrorism. We thank the heroes, and we pray for those who are suffering from the Sep 11th events.
Speaking of Public Safety Officials, a police captain and a sergeant were in attendance (as member attendees) at a recent LA-area Chamber of Commerce breakfast where Nina Hartley, Veronica Hart, Sharon Mitchell, Christi Lake and I were members of a panel discussing adult entertainment and answering questions from the audience. I was heartened at the respectful welcome we received, as well as the sense of community present in the room. After the meeting, I went to KellyFire’s apartment (see her photo on the box cover of “Sex Fun 7”, found at the link to “Latest Releases” at my www.davecummings.com web site) for a shoot for my Knee Pad Nymphos, Vol 2 upcoming release; for this scene, her roommate did a sizzling vaginal “creampie” with her while I did a “facial” money shot with her. Other fun shoots since the last column included yet another sex scene with Lainey, this one ending in an anal “creampie” which will be one of the 10 scenes in Vol 3 of “Knee Pad Nymphos”! I also shot a Knee Pad Nymphos scene with the sexy Senna—she and I did a couple of wild and energetic sexual positions prior to the facial ending! I participated in numerous other sex scenes, including hosting (and sexually “playing” with two of the wives on film) in “Screw My Wife, Please”, this one being Vol 24 of the acclaimed series from Bobby Rinaldi and Wildlife Productions (www.wildlifexxx.com).
I also attended the Erotic Exotic Expo in the Grand Ballroom of the Westin Hotel at the LA Airport where a LOT of adult stars were in attendance intermingling with fans. Jenna Jameson had an especially long line waiting for her autograph and photos; among the many others I remember (don’t forget that I’m 61 and my memory is slowing down a lot faster than my sex drive is) were Teri Weigel, Nicole Moore and Steve Banan, Brooke Hunter and Don Hollywood, Alexander Quinn, T.J. Hart, Rodney Moore, Kerri Starr, Alex Hidell, Nikki Steele, and NakedNicole (check this lovely amateur out at www.nakednicole.com–she was a huge hit at the Amateurfest I wrote about a couple of columns ago), Sharon Mitchell, Brittany Powers, KSEX Radio’s Wankus, and Samantha Sterling, and many many others.
