Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Comic Book Live – Bonjour mon amis! Comment CA VA? Myles Shaffer here. There was only one thing going on this weekend that was of any interest to me, but it was good for a lot of laughs. Is anybody curious? Good! Then please read on.
Comic Book Live
Saturday night, May 4, I went to the iO West Theater, in Hollywood, to observe, “Comic Book Live: Star Wars: Episode VIII.”
The cast on this night included: Brandon Barrick, Tommy Bechtold, Chris Gore, Zach Huddleston, Justine Joli, Markeia McCarty, Patrick Ian Moore, and Derek Reid.
The storyline for this performance was that Jabba the Hutt Junior, played by Brandon Barrick, was making an attempt to turn things around by creating a, “Friendly Empire.”
The show was very funny as always, and the cast did a great job.
Justine Joli gave a great performance as Princess Leia, and that is to say nothing of how cute and incredibly sexy she looked.
For a good and fun time, the readers should make plans to attend one or more performances of, “Comic Book Live,” at their earliest convenience. Anybody who might attend a performance of, “Comic Book Live,” and who doesn’t enjoy the show and have a lot of good laughs probably should check their pulse immediately. Chances are that they were already dead before they got to the theater.
I had planned to drive up to Rancho Cordova to hang out with Vicki Chase at the Gold Club Centerfolds Saturday night, May 11. (Vicki was feature dancing there of course.) Unfortunately I didn’t make the trip for various reasons. Sorry, Vicki. Maybe I’ll be able to see you perform another time in the near future.
And there you have it folks short and sweet. We should all meet back here the next time to speak of whatever I’ve managed to get myself into next. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!
Bonsoir et au revoir,
Myles Shaffer
