Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This column will be about some friends and lots of great laughter. So, please read on to see just what I’ve been up to this time around.
Comic Book Live
Saturday night, January 12, I went to the iO West Theater, in Hollywood, to observe the performance of, “Comic Book Live: Star Wars Episode Vii the Phantom Hope.”
The cast of, “Comic Book Live,” on this night was: Brandon Barrick, Tommy Bechtold, Brett Butler, Peter Fluet, Chris Gore, Zach Huddleston, adult film star Justine Joli, Markeia McCarty, Patrick Ian Moore, Derek Reid, James Warfield, and Canon Wing.
The special guest star for this performance was beautiful adult film star Mika Tan. Mika did a fine job of portraying the sexiest Chewbacca I’ve ever seen!
Considering the subject matter of this performance of, “Comic Book Live,” I fully expected to see a good turnout. What I didn’t expect to see was standing room only inside the theater! And it was a great and very appreciative crowd! There must have been at least a dozen people in Star Wars costumes including one young women who even went to the trouble of fixing her hair to look exactly like the hairstyle worn by Princess Leia in the original, “Star Wars,” movies.
I will once again recommend that the Los Angeles area readers go to the iO West Theater and observe a performance of, “Glory Stories,” and, “Comic Book Live,” every now that then. After all, is has been said many times that laughter will heal whatever ails a person. And if there are any readers who don’t live in the Los Angeles area, but are planning a trip out here, they should include a visit to the iO West Theater in their travel plans.
Okay folks, I know this is a rather short column, but I must wrap it up and start preparing for my trip to Las Vegas to cover the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo this week. Let’s all meet back here the next time to learn who all were in attendance at the convention other than fans and lookie-loos. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!
Bonsoir et au revoir,
Myles Shaffer
