(STUDIO CITY, CA) — Nestled in the Studio City California Sheraton Hotel, the Webmasters Access West show was in full swing as the people from just about every phase of the Adult industry was in attendance. The show is geared toward the internet side of the industry and everyone whit a website whether it be big or small was there to mingle, meet, make deals and best of all party.
The event of the day was something called a floor cruise. The seventh and eighth floors of the hotel were set up as open marketing areas for companies to have an open door room and show attendees to walk the area and meet each company in their room. Sit on the bed and talk if you wanted, or just pass through. On each floor there was one suite that was stocked with an open bar and the drinks were flowing like crazy.
All of the great companies had their wares to give out as you walked in the room, people to explain what their company can do for you and some of them had models and hot girls there just to hand you a hat or a tee shirt along with the companies information of course.
A few of the room stuck out in my mind as I was totally filled with all the free vodka and juice I could fit in during the two hour open cruise. The fact that Jenna Jameson was there was exciting by itself, she was in a suite signing autographs as her people were telling us all about Club Jenna and Playboy. She was incredibly nice to everyone just in case you were wondering.
Digital Playground had a popular area with plenty of giveaways and souvenirs in the room. Digital Playground contract star Stoya was also on hand for pictures and hugs. We love Stoya and have known her for a while, even before digital. Even owner Joone was in the room and seemed happy to great everyone.
Video Secrets, Sliver Cash, and a handful of other (Insert Slick Name) cash program companies were there with rooms, if you were looking for a billing, traffic, or affiliate company. This was the place to be for sure.
As any webmaster or internet convention the people gathering was gigantic. Think about this, you talk to these people all year long through emails or phone calls or PM messages, and now you are face to face with all of them and the bar is open. It’s a great recipe for fun and drunkenness. In one funny moment a manager woman from the hotel was yelling at me and threatening to throw me off the property if I did not stop my very convincing simulated standing doggie style sex act that I was performing on Cleopatra who was there with a new client, Broken Arrow. I told you all I was a good actor, that manager was very convinced I was not simulating. I was drinking a lot, maybe I over acted, I don’t remember.
We left after a while to get ready for the two different after parties that were going on, we first planned to hit the Red Light District/ Xpeeps party at the Blue Moon night club in North Hollywood, then we were moving the crew over to the XBIZ/ World Wide Content Lucky Strike Bowling party in the heart of Hollywood California. Two more open bars? It’s amazing I can remember anything that happened on this date and time. But we do this for a living so we have it all down for you.
