Shannon Needs Your Help

HelpShannon.net was created to help spread awareness about the terrible injuries suffered by our friend Shannon. All donations to “Shannon’s Fund” will go directly to the trustee of Shannon to help with her family’s un-imaginable financial burden.

February 16, 2004 Shannon had an epileptic seizure while cooking and caught fire when her sweater was ignited by the burners on the gas stove. Dave came to her aid when he smelled burning and Shannon didn’t respond to his calls. Shannon was flown by Life Lion to Lehigh Valley Hospital where she is being treated in the Critical Burn Unit. Her injuries are devastating:

3rd and 4th degree burns over 42% of her body Most damaged tissue is unrepairable. Extensive internal injuries including damage to her lungs from inhaling the fumes from her burning sweater.

When Shannon arrived at the Critical Burn Unit, doctors gave her a 14% chance of survival. She is currently in an induced coma and paralysis which is to last 28 days while doctors attend to her injuries.

How you Can Help:

Like many self-employed entrepreneurs, Shannon does not have medical insurance. Her bills have already skyrocketed past $500,000 and will only continue to grow.
