(ROME) — One of Italy’s most famous porn stars said Thursday she had had enough of the hard life and was taking a spiritual retreat in a convent.
“I’m tired of this life and I’ve been thinking of leaving the hard porn scene for a while,” 30-year-old Luana Borgia said.
“I don’t regret anything about my past, but…I want to do something else, perhaps cinema and television,” she added.
Borgia, whose real surname is Pardon, plans to take a three-week break in a convent in the southern town of Cosenza at the invitation of its prior, Father Fedele.
The Capuchin monk met Borgia, the star of some 30 sex movies, four years ago when she donated an ambulance for the order’s missions in Africa.
