The Brazilian authorities will make the pornographic actors wear condoms in their movies. Like the officials think, such visual agitation will assist in the anti-AIDS propaganda.
As Reuters informed, the bill stipulated for the prohibition of the import, sales, or making movies, in which the actors did not wear condoms during the sexual scenes. The law will touch upon the scenes of sexual intercourse on TV, in movies, VHS or erotic magazines. The authors of the bill also think that a condom must always be present in oral sex scenes.
The bill has already been approved by the special committee of the Brazilian congress, and will probably be passed next year. The congress has recently voted for the bill, according to which all pornographic production in the country will be accompanied with the appeals to fight AIDS with the help of a condom. The authors of the bill believe that such an appeal is totally pointless, if they have non-condom-sex in a XXX movie.
The campaign of the Brazilian authorities was an example to follow for the developing countries. The number of AIDS virus infected people dropped in Brazil from 20 thousand in 1996 to 15 thousand in the year 2000.
