(SANTA MONICA, CA) — The First Annual ‘Search 4 a Cause’ multi-charity scavenger hunt takes place Sunday, June 3rd. This unique event was created in an effort to bring awareness to, and raise money for, the organization of the participants’ choosing.
“Many people want to do some type of charity work or fundraising, but most don’t know how to go about it,” says event organizer Frank Prather. “We make it easy and fun. Just search for a cause you’d like to help, raise some money, and come have a great time.”
Teams of 3-6 “scavengers” will run rampant around town solving puzzles, finding clues, hunting for items and taking group photos in an effort to win additional money for their respective charities along with other prizes. Anyone can field a team and, for individuals who want to play, S4AC can help place them on a team. People who can’t attend can sponsor any team they choose.
The adult industry will be out in force with participants including Hailey Young, Micah Moore, Vanessa Lynn, Ginger Lee, Kacey Villainess and Faye Runaway.
The event is funded entirely by sponsors so all of the money raised goes directly to the charity for which it is intended. Any charitable organization is acceptable and teams have already signed up to play for everything from Hunter C.A.R.E., to cystic fibrosis, to cancer, to homes for battered women and children.
Information on how to participate, contribute, or sponsor, is at www.search4acause.com and the deadline is May 30th. The event is also seeking sponsors to contribute prizes which can be anything from items, to gift certificates, to event tickets.
