(UTICA, NY) — While a majority of Americans shy away from using the Internet to provide sexual fulfillment, about one-in-five say such technology can provide stimulation, according to a recent Zogby poll.
In a survey of 1,031 adults nationwide, 65.1% said they did not think any sexual fulfillment could be found via the Internet, while 11.5% said they thought there was some chance of online excitement and 9.7% said it was very likely.
A combined 36% of single Americans thought there was at least some possibility of satisfying sexual urges with a trip online, compared with only 18% of married individuals.
Nearly 40% of respondents ages 18-29 said virtual pleasure was a possibility, compared with only 13.9% of those ages 65 and older.
