(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that Brad Armstrong’s AVN, XBIZ, and NightMoves award-winning science fiction spectacular 2040 continued its winning streak last night at the 26th Annual XRCO Awards in Hollywood.
A chilling look at the future of erotica, 2040’s excellent performances, outstanding production values, and compelling concepts were recognized with the evening’s coveted Best Epic award, while the multi-disc DVD package’s wealth of fascinating bonus material was rewarded with a trophy for Most Outrageous DVD Extras. It was fitting that the XRCO should be so lavish in their praise of the title, as the esteemed voting body were among the first to champion Euphoria, the director’s previous foray into the big-budget sci-fi adventure genre.
Armstrong was in attendance to personally accept the awards, as were three of the movie’s glamorous stars, jessica drake, Kaylani Lei, and Alektra Blue. When not basking in the film’s success, the sexy Wicked Girls walked the red carpet, granted interviews, and also participated as awards presenters.
A high-tech step into the world of tomorrow, 2040 is continuing to enjoy healthy sales and critical acclaim nearly eight months after its initial release, and Wicked Pictures is proud to congratulate the project’s cast, crew, and support staff for contributing so greatly to the movie’s success.
