Bill Margold Died

I just received a phone call and followed up in time to hear from a mutual friend that William “Papa Bear” Margold just died. I’m numb having known Bill for many years and will miss him in spite of his abrasive nature.

One could say everyone knew him and either liked him a lot or the opposite. He offended many including me but, still, I will grieve at his loss.

Apparently he collapsed during his radio show. There’s a gap in my information here until when trying to reach him, friends found he wasn’t responding to calls and knocks at the door. When the sheriff was called they found him dead at his apartment.

I’m sure AVN will have more details soon. Pardon me for being brief.
