(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Monarchy Distribution announced earlier it had pledged 100% of its VOD revenues for the month of April to the Boston Children’s Hospital to help children and families affected by the bombings during the Boston Marathon.
Mike Kulich, owner of Monarchy stated earlier that he had hoped other companies would follow suit in helping the people of Boston.
Hotmovies.com has stepped up and agreed to match dollar for dollar all of Monarchy’s April VOD revenue and donate it to the Boston Children’s Hospital as well.
James Cybert, director of business development for HotMovies stated ” We were so saddened to learn of the tragedy in Boston and we feel it’s important to join Monarchy in reaching out to help. We are keeping the victims in our thoughts and hearts during this difficult time.”
Kulich commented, “There is nothing better than seeing the people I work with come together for a common purpose and good cause. A big thank you to James and everyone at Hotmovies for matching our donation and helping out the great city of Boston.”
Boston Children’s Hospital continues to aid in the recovery following the explosions and care for those who were injured in the attack. The Marathon Program, which supports the hospital’s areas of greatest need, and the Emergency and Trauma fund, helps kids and families get the emergency treatment they need when faced with tragedy.
