“Comic Book Live!” is a live and totally improvised stage adaptation of comic book, graphic novel, cartoon, or anime, created with the help of a special guest artist, writer, or voice actor from the comic book and cartoon industry! Join us on the iO West mainstage for a nerdtastically good time filled with fantasy, action, & adventure… and see a different story come to life onstage every show! Each performance features a special guest from the world of comic books and cartoons, and is performed in full costume
Special Guest for Fri May 4 at 9pm is the Walking Dead’s Scott Gimple!
Scott Gimple co-wrote the script of Ghost Rider 2, and in 2011 he joined the crew of AMC’s the Walking Dead as a producer and writer. He has worked on Disney’s Pepper Ann and as a writer for Simpsons Comics. Gimple created the cartoon, Fillmore! And the comic book Heroes Anonymous. Scott can be seen performing at iO West in the drinking game show, the Friday Forty, and with the Harold team, Sweeterhouse.
