(AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS) — On Friday the 25th of November 2011, Sexy Art Gallery (La Galerie Provocatrice) and GO Gallery will present: Higashi No Jounetsu / Passion of the East.
This will be the second time that GO Gallery enters collaboration with the Sexy Art Gallery.
The show is the official start to the Wasteland weekend celebrations in Amsterdam!
This exhibit will showcase a number of artists that have been inspired by the traditional erotic art forms of Japan and the Orient.
The influence of Japanese erotic art comes mainly from the traditional Shunga and the modern influence of Ero Manga and Ecchi art, which portrays mischievous, erotic fantasies.
All these art forms are clearly visible in the works of the participating artists.
During the opening on Friday the 25th of November, between 19.00 – 23.00 hrs, at Go Gallery, Prinsengracht 64, Amsterdam, one will have the pleasure of observing some performances in the very same style of the exhibit.
