(CALABASAS, CA) — Video Secrets announces the Flirt 4 a Cause promotion aimed at benefiting the AIDS LifeCycle event (www.AIDSLifeCycle.org), which puts a strong emphasis on increased awareness and support for the important purpose of HIV prevention.

The team at Video Secrets will join thousands in the world’s largest annual HIV/AIDS fundraising event, where they will participate in a seven day bike ride for the purpose of advancing the goal of an end to the AIDS pandemic and the human suffering caused by this disease.

The AIDS LifeCycle is a seven day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles spanning June 5 through 11 2011. It is intended to be a life-changing ride- not a race-through some of California’s most beautiful countryside. The AIDS LifeCycle is co-produced by the L.a. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and approximately 2,500 people from 40 states and nine countries will be participating in this worthy cause.

In an effort to raise awareness for this worthy cause, not only are Brad Estes and Craig Miller of Video Secrets riding in the AIDS LifeCyle event, but Video Secrets has created their Flirt 4 a Cause Promotion, which will take place from April 15 to the 16, where they will be donating 3% of all sales from both days as a charitable contribution for an amount up to $6,000.00 in direct funding. All customer packages are included in the Flirt4Cause promotion and Video Secrets is also offering several specials throughout the promotion, including $1,500 in prizes for performers.

“Craig and I will be proudly representing Video Secrets at the AIDS LifeCycle journey in June,” said Brad Estes, Manager of Operations for Video Secrets. “We have been training hard for the 7 day ride, and looking forward to doing our part. HIV/AIDS has impacted the lives of so many people and we hope that our contribution will mean an increase in the kind of health-conscious information that is available to the public, as well as giving to the funds that are greatly needed for meaningful research. The AIDS LifeCycle does an excellent job of accomplishing what they can, and we are honored to be a part of it this year.”

Since the AIDS epidemic began in 1981, 1.7 million Americans have been infected with HIV and 583,298 have died of AIDS-related causes through 2007. At the current pace, 56,300 people will become infected by HIV this year, equating to one new person every 9 1/2 minutes in the United States. The time to take action and make real progress in conquering the disease is now.
