(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Metro Content is pleased to announce its acquisition of the highly anticipated Cheeky Monkey Productions: ”Alice” – a visionary re-imagining of the classic ”Alice in Wonderland” tale that comes right on the heels of the Tim Burton release of his big-budget 3-D extravaganza of the same name – starring Johnny Depp.
Directed by Erica McLean and Carlos Batts, this film follows 3-time 2010 AVN Award Nominee Sunny Lane as Alice through her adventure in Wonderland as she and her friends try to gain access to ”the Hole” – Wonderlands most popular night club. Along the way Alice is met by many of the classic characters including the Mad Hatter (played flawlessly by AVN Award Winner Evan Stone), the Queen of Hearts (April Flores), the White Rabbit (Andy Dimas), the Mouse (Katie St. Ives), the Caterpillar (Otto Bauer), Dweedle Dum (Aiden Starr) and more.
Director Erica McLean is currently nominated for ”Best Director” at the 2010 XBIZ Awards and was nominated for six AVN awards, including ”Best Director” for her previous release ”Hardcore Circus”. Carlos Batts was also nominated in 2010 for ”Best Director: Non-Feature” for his work on ”Voluptuous Biker Babes”.
