In the week of January 17th, 2005, SpankingOnline pulled off one of the most spectacular feats in the history of spanking media. In a daring move, the UK-based SpankingOnline, one of the premier providers of online spanking video erotica, flew in four of America’s top fetish/glamour models and made history in the process.
The Concept
The CEO of SOL (SpankingOnline) is a quick-witted Englishman of Italian decent named Dino. He, along with his brother, Peppe, have made the Sol family of websites an extremely successful and popular enterprise. The idea for the "All American Girl Project" had its genesis last fall. One evening, I was discussing what I called "Sol’s Big Shoot" with Dino. For the "Big Shoot," Sol procured the use of an old estate and hired several models from the United Kingdom. The large estate created the possibility of shooting on several sets at once. This, of course, required the use of multiple camera crews. Dino noted that despite the expense and sheer exhaustion that went into carrying off such an event he was very pleased with the results. In fact, he said he wanted to do it again. At this point I was thinking, "Okay he’s lost it." Then he said with a laugh, "This time mate, I want to do it with American girls." Now I was certain that this statement had verified my earlier diagnosis. I never for one second believed that such a thing would ever come off once the numbers were crunched.
Since we were dealing in sheer fantasy, I made the suggestion that this proposed project should be reserved for established stars of the American spanking video industry. Over the next few weeks I was surprised when Dino persisted. He liked the idea of using the American industry’s top talent. So, one day late last fall, Dino told me that the "All American Girl Shoot" was a go. I was surprised, to say the least. "Who the hell crunches the numbers over there?" I wondered. (Turns out that Dino does.)
He asked me about models and performers in the American talent pool who would make good candidates for the shoot, keeping in mind that the girls who accepted the assignment would need to face that dreaded implement of British punishment, the cane. He asked me if I’d help with the recruitment effort for this historic shoot. This project was so completely fascinating to me that I was thrilled to be a part of it in anyway I could.
In retrospect, this was a perfect year for this special project. In 2004 a new generation of stars of the CP media had emerged from the LA scene.
I knew from the very beginning that the model known as "Darling" absolutely had to be involved with this project. When one uses the term "All American Girl" Darling is the first performer to come to mind. She has that girl-next-door, former high school cheerleader look. That is, of course, if the girl next door has a large Celtic cross tattooed to her back. I guess the best way of describing Darling ( also known as Submissive Darling) is that she is a very kinky girl, but you can take her home to mother (apologies to the late Rick James). I have always found her mixture of light and dark to be completely fascinating. I knew that Darling was close to my friend Clare Fonda. (it seems that most of LA’s top spanking models are.) I contacted Clare and let her know about the shoot and my desire to contact Darling. Two days later I learned that both Darling and her dear friend Venus had enthusiastically signed up for the shoot. This was fantastic news. Both of these talented young women had proven their star appeal in numerous video productions. Prior to becoming stars of the CP cinema, both Darling and Venus were already popular members of LA’s BDSM community. Darling (Submissive Darling) and Venus are members of the critically acclaimed LA-based BDSM performance art troupe known as "Severe Society." I’ve been told that performances by Severe Society are so intense that even veteran members of the community find it difficult to watch at times. It is good to have the power to disturb.
Next to officially sign on for this history-making project was the ravishing Lauren Legends. Lauren is a major star of adult videos. She has worked for Hustler, Vivid Raw, Wildlife, Girlfriend Films, and Fatdog productions. In the fetish arena, she has worked for Claire Fontane and Bon Vue. Lauren is tall and lovely beyond words.
During the recruitment process there was a very special performer who I believed would make great match for our girls from the Severe Society. This is an artist of whom it can be said that she truly suffers for her art. This performer was none other than Niki Flynn. Niki became an international star of the CP media when she was the featured player in two Lupus Pictures productions, "The Exchange Student" and "Crime and Punishment." Niki is the first American to appear in a Lupus Pictures Production. (Lupus Pictures is based in the Czech Republic.) in Lupus Pictures’ production of "Crime and Punishment" (not to be confused with Dostoevsky’s), not only did Miss Flynn endure a ferocious caning; she also allowed her hair to be roughly sheared. I remember Niki telling me that the cutting of her hair in that manner hurt more than the caning.
I had heard that Niki was in the United Kingdom as part of her program of study, so I emailed the talented Miss Flynn telling her of the "Sol American Girl" project. After giving the matter due consideration, Niki agreed to sign on.
I knew that this group of highly talented professionals had the potential to produce work that could prove to be something very special.
It was early in December when Dino extended the offer that Sol (SpankingOnline.com ) fly me to the UK to cover this very special event for Spreview. I, of course, jumped at the chance.
