(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Phone sex advertisements, the bane of tact, good taste and creativity, have gone cutting edge. SinTalk.com‘s new television commercial was shot in high definition television.
Why? The blacks are incredibly rich and the resolution is hyper real, but it’s still transferred back to Beta for broadcast.
"Why not? We were concerned with subtleties." said Brad Mitchell, the owner of SinTalk.com, with a completely straight face.
Casting took days. "Ever want to watch people run. Go to a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) agency and mention ‘phone sex’," he said. "It looked like a crowd scene from Godzilla Escapes."
Sandy Knight, porn actress and feature dancer, was hired to seduce 8 -10 million late night viewers three nights a week. She had lines — 60 seconds of copy — more dialogue than three gonzo films.
"And more plot too." she said via satellite from Oman where she’s filming Lauren of Arabia. She mentioned something about surgically enhanced camel humps and then the connection died.
After countless beer and cereal commercials, this was the crew’s first phone sex experience. "20 years in the business and I never shot a woman moaning before," said the director of photography.
