(CHATSWORTH, CA) — KSEX.com graciously accepted hosts Ethan Cage and Lexi Lamour’s resignation Friday evening following the two hosts allowing a former employee in potential litigation against the company to appear on the air as well as publicly voicing disrespect for the current management. The two hosts were helming the now defunct “Road Head.”
“For all the talk in their resignation statement of missing the ‘family vibe’ of the station, it does seem Ethan and Lexi were single-handedly trying to destroy that vibe themselves,” says Jason Sechrest, show host and public relations representative for KSEX. “The only reason one episode was ended abruptly is because they stabbed the KSEX family in the back when they invited someone into our living room who has threatened legal action against us. They then proceeded to spit in the faces of upper management with immature name calling to the press. Let’s face it, any other radio or television station in the country would have terminated the hosts for such behavior, but KSEX showed here that they believe in supporting their hosts and their right to voice differing opinions.”
New program director Lorrainiac, who also happens to host the longest running show on the station adds: “We don’t censor anyone on the station, but the one thing we’ve always insisted on is being a family. It’s a rule Wankus laid down during his reign of the station and it’s one I insist on seeing through that there is no in-family bashing. You can’t publicly call the owners ‘dicks.’ We’ve let people go for saying way less than that about fellow hosts who are way further down on the ladder. We support each other here and when we lose that, to me, we lose a lot of what makes KSEX such a fun place to be for fans and hosts.
“We’re really proud of the work we’re doing and the new KSEX that we are building,” concludes Lorrainiac. “We want to make sure it remains the supportive atmosphere it has always been and that is always difficult during a transition period that has included such drastic changes in upper management. It’s all just par for the course. Ethan and Lexi are very talented and will go far following the platform we have given them. We wish them the best of luck and hope to see them back at KSEX as guests in the future.”
