Dear ASACP Sponsors and Members,
ASACP (the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection) has already announced its neutrality in the debate over the proposed .XXX TLD.
However, since the .XXX TLD proposal is being justified (at least in part) by an expressed concern over child protection, many of our Sponsors, Members and associates in the industry have asked us to assess the provisions of the proposal which specifically address child protection issues.
We have done so, and have now posted our comments on the ICANN Forum.
To see ASACP’s posted comments, please go to forum.icann.org/lists/xxx-icm-agreement/ and look at the first comment under March 9: “ASACP Comments on Child Protection Provisions of Proposed .xxx TLD” (Joan Irvine)
As usual, thank you for your ongoing support of ASACP and our child protection efforts on behalf of the adult entertainment industry.
Joan Irvine
Executive Director
