(LOS ANGELES, CA) — For the third consecutive year, Vivid Entertainment has received a record number of AVN Awards nominations. This year’s 102 nominations surpass the 71 received in 2004 and the 93 in 2005.
“The New Devil in Miss Jones” was given 19 nominations including Best Film, making it the most nominated film ever. Other nominations include: Best Actress for Savanna Samson in her role as Miss Jones, Best Supporting Actress for Jenna Jameson as the Devil, Best Director for Paul Thomas and Best Non-Sex Performance for Georgina Spelvin, who starred as Miss Jones in the original 1973 film.
Thirteen other Vivid titles were also acknowledged, including “Sentenced” with eight nominations, “The Villa” with seven nominations and “Emotions” with six. “Two Hot” received a nomination for best sex comedy.
Features distributed through Vivid also garnered recognition. Sky World’s “Raw Desire” received eleven nominations, while Club Jenna’s “Jenna Loves Pain” got seven and “Krystal Method” received six.
