(CANOGA PARK, CA) — Free Speech Coalition (FSC) has announced the launch of a new Facebook Group and profile page, exclusively for FSC professional level members. The online social networking platform will allow members to interact, post comments, discuss topics, as well as view the latest FSC news, photos and video.
”Following the example of President Obama, who is the first president to successfully use the Internet for grassroots organization and mobilization, FSC has decided to update its accessibility to members by using the unique features of Facebook’s networking platform,” said FSC Membership Director Joanne Cachapero. ”There is already a large adult industry community that is using Facebook to connect online. This FSC members-only profile page and group gives users the ability to connect, network, participate in discussions and give us feedback, so that’s very exciting. The more that we hear from our members, the more we are able to address their needs by providing services and resources.”
For FSC members that are currently registered on Facebook, the FSC profile page can be found by using the ”Find Friends” function and searching the name ”Free Speech.” The FSC profile page is distinguished by the new FSC logo.
Members also can find the FSC Group by going to Facebook Groups and searching ”Free Speech Coalition.” Once there, they may request to be added to the group.
FSC members that are not registered for Facebook can sign up for free at Facebook.com www.facebook.com/index.php? lh=a483e50b06cf44da4edb0d0851ab2151&
Requests to be accepted to either the group or as a ”friend” on the profile page will be reviewed by FSC staff, in order to ensure that participants are currently FSC members.
”For professionals in the adult industry, half your life is spent at a computer or texting on your handheld,” Cachapero added. ”So, if the FSC can use social networking to establish better communication, we want to take advantage of that technology to keep in touch with our members.”
