(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The third annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) Awards are pleased to announce that voting is now open to the public! Fans 18 years of age and older can log on now to narrow down the list of their favorites in the world of adult entertainment at the event’s official website, www.thefameawards.com.
Fans are invited to choose the eight finalists in categories such as Favorite Female Starlet, Favorite Male Star, Favorite Anal Starlet, Favorite Breasts, Favorite Ass, Dirtiest Girl in Porn, Favorite Star Website, Favorite Studio, Favorite Feature Movie and more. The fan-selected ”Wild Card” category is returning again which allows voters to choose the final category, and F.A.M.E. this year will also feature a new category: Favorite Celebrity Sex Tape of All- Time.” Fans will be able to nominate finalists (either from names pre-nominated or via a write-in box) until Monday, April 21, where the top eight vote receivers in each category will then move onto the final round of voting. This will remain open until the F.A.M.E. Awards Show.
The awards show takes place on Saturday, June 7, at 9:00 PM during Erotica LA at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The show is free to attend for those who purchase tickets for the convention. Hosts for the show will be announced in the coming weeks, and organizers promise that the show will be bigger and better than last year’s production.
What separates the F.A.M.E. Awards from various other award shows is that the fans choose their favorites in the adult movie world. To make this groundbreaking event possible, industry leaders Adam & Eve.com (www.adameve.com), Genesis Magazine (www.genesismagazine.com), online adult DVD rental company WantedList (www.wantedlist.com) and AVN.com (www.AVN.com) have partnered together to bring the F.A.M.E. Awards to life.
