(LONGWOOD, FL) — The cyber voyeur webcam site CollegeBoysLive.com lost a round in court Friday when Judge Sloop ordered the owners of the site to turn over a lengthy list of documents to the prosecution. The site is being sued by there local home owners association on the grounds that they are running a business out of there home contrary to the local convents.
The 2 year court battle seems to be drawing to a close with the main court hearing just a month away on July 31st. A court ruling in the HOA’s favor will basically undermine a previous court ruling in Tampa FL where it was deemed that webcam houses are not the location of the business, and this can have far reaching consequences for a lot of home biased internet operations.
The owners of the CollegeBoysLive.com site pointed out that 25 other businesses, including members of the HOA board have been operating in the neighborhood for many years and nothing has been done about them. "Its selective enforcement" says Adams, the owner and a resident at the Longwood, FL home. "They don’t like a group of gay guys running a webcam house and as the city and county won’t do anything about it they decided to use long defunct HOA rules to try to get rid of us".
