The Love Shack

(ATLANTA, GA) — Metro Atlanta adult video and novelty store owner John Cornetta avoided trial Wednesday in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

In a pre-trial hearing, State Court Solicitor General Gerald Blaney dropped 12 charges of distributing an obscene video by six of Cornetta’s employees, and the one count against Cornetta himself. In return Cornetta’s corporation, Jack be Nimble, Llc pleaded guilty of one count of possessing an obscene video. Jack be Nimble will pay a one time $5,000 fine.

Cornetta had put together a “dream team” to represent him with among others, attorney Louis Sirkin after his store on Jimmy Carter Blvd. In Gwinnett County was raided last March. According to Sirkin, Cornetta’s stores will operate as usual minus that one particular video.

The video in question that will not be carried anymore and caused the fine is Shane’s World 20.

If the trial would have proceeded jury selection was to have begun late this week and the trial itself would have opened next week.
