(ATLANTA, GA) — A Fulton County (GA) police captain was arrested on charges stemming from the Sandy Springs, GA strip club, Flashers.

Captain Mark Timothy Lance was said to have provided police protection to the club in exchange for money and sex. Lance also agreed to provide information about Fulton County police matters to the club, as well with assistance with licenses and other county matters.

The FBI has been investigating the case with the lead prosecutor being Special Agent Mark Sewell, who was also a lead agent on the Gold Club/Steven Kaplan case.

Lance was arrested and charged, but charges have not been disclosed as of yet. Lance also has been suspended from the force pending the outcome of the case.

Sewell says they have video and audiotape evidence showing Lance accepting payments for the duties he performed including fixing a traffic ticket for a Flasher’s employee.
