(ATLANTA, GA) — NBA great and Orlando Magic center Patrick Ewing took the stand in Atlanta Federal Court Monday to testify he received oral sex on two occasions while visiting the Gold Club in Atlanta.
Ewing, wearing a navy suit, said that as a member of the New York Knicks in the 1990’s, Steven Kaplan and "Ziggy" Sicignano introduced themselves, and invited New York Knick to the club. Ewing only testified for 30 minutes, but it appeared to be a powerful 30 minutes as jurors paid close attention. Ewing said he didn’t attend the club expecting to have sex, and the acts occurred in the private VIP rooms within the club.
Late in the day on Monday, former dancer, Jana Pelnis took the stand for the prosecution and named Philadelphia 76er, Dikemebe Mutombo and Denver Bronco running back Terrell Davis as two professional athletes she remembered seeing sexual favors performed on. She testified Kaplan was in the room many times the acts were being performed, and he encouraged the girls and compensated them for it. Pelnis named Jacklyn "Diva" Bush as a dancer who performed acts on Ewing.
Also expected later this week former president of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) Eric Bishoff will take the stand to testify.
