The thieves shattered the glass front door, and snatched a computer and monitor, sitting on the receptionist’s desk. The computer was used by AdultDiary.com columnist Dee. There was no confidential information stored on the computer, however as a precaution, all AdultDiary.com passwords were immediately changed.
Appearently, the alarm was enough to scare the thieves off before an armed guard arrived. Police arrived soon after, checked the premises, interviewed Weiss & Associates owner Harry Weiss and the Adultdiary office manager (who did not want her name released), and called in the forensic team to dust for fingerprints.
Risqué Business and Adultdiary owner, Lucky Smith, was out of town at the time. The police believe that the break-in was a random act, and not aimed at an adult business. By 6am the door was replaced, the office cleaned up and the companies were ready for business as usual on Monday.
