“I’m not an economist, but given how completely wrong most economists were about the stability of the US economy back before the housing bubble burst, maybe that’s a good thing where my plan is concerned,” Vivas said. “I know enough to realize that handing out $700 billion with no strings attached was not such a great idea, at least.”
