(MEXICO CITY)– Mexican authorities have rounded up 29 foreign “exotic dancers” accused of performing strip tease routines without work permits and might deport them, officials say.
The women were caught performing “lucrative activities” while in the country on tourist visas, which would violate immigration laws, the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) said Monday in a news release.
The 29 “European women” no countries were listed — worked for The Men’s Club, a nightclub in Mexico City’s popular Pink Zone tourist district.
