(VAN NUYS, CA) — With a “less is best” costume theme, “The Porn Star Ball Tour” launches in Chicago June 28th at Club Vision (640 North Dearborn, starting at 10 p.m.) and then will move to 15 other cities across North America and Canada. Each event will feature a contest with a $1,000 prize in which the world famous Vivid Girls will select three finalists for the come-as-your-favorite-porn-star competition, the winner will be chosen by the audience at each event.
Vivid Entertainment Group, top concert promoter Nikita Events and COG1 Digital Marketing have teamed up to produce the tour, which will play in major, large-capacity clubs as it zigzags across the continent. Helping promote the tour is Virgin Megastore, one of the nation’s largest video and music chains, and a long time Vivid retailer.
At each stop on the tour, Vivid Girls will choose a trio of female contestants with that one-of-a-kind porn star look, at least for the night. Savanna Samson, Sunrise Adams and Kira Kener will be the first tour judges at Club Vision on June 28th.
“We want women to get into the costume ball spirit of these events by dressing up in outfits they might otherwise wear only at home. They’ll also get a shot at winning a thousand bucks for looking sexy, and have a wicked time doing it,” according to Brooks Pettus of Nikita Events, a co-founder of the event. “The fact that we are in very large clubs demonstrates the drawing power of the Vivid Girls combined with the uniqueness of the concept for a club-based event.”
Vivid Girls will sign autographs and give away valuable Vivid schwag at venue. Visitors to the Porn Star Ball Website (PornStarBall.com) and people attending the events will be eligible for two raffles. The first is for a chance to own a hot new Sims Fader Snowboard featuring an image of a Vivid Girl on the deck and the second is for VIP treatment at one of the tour’s grand finale events over Halloween weekend. The tour winds up simultaneously in Chicago and Los Angeles and the raffle winner will get a free trip for two to his or her city of choice.
“World recognized DJs Donald Glaude and Christopher Lawrence will alternate performances at the events, which will also feature sexy (though not the Full Monty) content from Vivid movies mixed into club footage and shown on large screens, special go-go shows performed by the Nikita Dancers, plus lots of other production highlights,” says Mr. Pettus. “The Porn Star Ball Tour promises to be great entertainment, with sensational DJs for the musically inclined and a sexy costume ball theme for everyone who just wants to go out and have a brilliant night out on the town.”
