(CASSELBERRY, FL) — No more nude Macbeth. Seminole County commissioners have passed a law banning nudity in establishments licensed to sell alcohol.
The move followed several nude performances of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and other theatrical skits at the Club Juana strip club in Casselberry.
The May performances were the first time dancers had performed nude since voters approved the county public-decency ordinance in November.
The law requires strippers to wear a minimum amount of clothing… but the ban allowed nudity for theatrical performances.
The new county law plugs that theatrical loophole.
