(NEW YORK, NY) — Robert Rosen, author of Beaver Street: A History of Modern Pornography, will be hosting and reading at Bloomsday on Beaver Street II’s Father’s Day Edition this Sunday, June 16, at 7pm. The event will also feature porn star and CEO of Exotic Interludes, Lexi Love.

Love will be reading from Cookie Mueller’s Walking Through Clear Water in a Pool Painted Black. In addition, Eric Danville, editor of the Penthouse Forum and Girls of Penthouse, will be reading from his book, the Complete Linda Lovelace, and adult entertainment publicist Lainie Speiser will be reading from her book, Confessions of the Hundred Hottest Porn Stars.

Admission to the event, held at upstairs bar Killarney Rose on 80 Beaver Street in New York City, is free; signed copies of books, CDs and the erotic board game “Uncle Don’s Exotic Interlude,” will all be available for purchase.

Bloomsday at Beaver Street is named for Leopold Bloom, the protagonist of James Joyce’s novel Ulysses. The event is a celebration of banned books, James Joyce, and erotic acts that have inspired great works of literature. Rosen, who also penned the international bestseller, Nowhere Man: The Final Days of John Lennon, will also present a staged reading of a scene from “Mr. Sensitivity,” a play by Byron Nilsson. Live music by Mary Lyn Maiscott, HooP, and Ray Flud, are also scheduled to round out the evening.

“I am thrilled to have Lexi Love, who has garnered seven AVN award nominations in such categories such as ‘Best Oral Sex Scene’ and ‘Most Outrageous Sex Scene,’ and her great adult board game ‘Uncle Don’s Exotic Interludes,’ at this year’s Bloomsday at Beaver Street,” says Rosen. “I know she will make it an event that people will still be talking about next year.”
