(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Jill Kelly Productions released their July shooting schedule to the public this week, the underlying theme for which was “romance” and “couples.” Company President/COO Jill Kelly has called upon her favorite fellow female directors to shoot what she describes as “romantic epics” from Saturday, July 6th through Tuesday, July 9th.
Skye Blue will direct JKP exclusive Jenna Haze in “Passion Designer” on July 6th and 7th. Haze plays nude model to Joel Lawrence’s artist who molds a manican out of her supple form. Through the creation of the manican, Lawrence falls madly in love with Haze.
Then on July 8th and 9th, Toni English will helm “Fools for Love,” starring JKP exclusive Star E. Knight. As a girl who keeps getting set up with all the wrong men, Star takes each of her disastrous dates to the same restaraunt. Little does she know that the love of her life is right under her nose. Marty Romano has been cast to portray Knight’s true love, a waiter at the restaraunt who painfully witnesses each of her debacles.
“We’ve always been very conscious of the couples market,” explains Jill Kelly, “But this month we’re really playing it up more than ever. I think it’s a reflection of the change in my own personal life, now being part of a ‘couple’ again. Naturally, I’m going to make the kind of movies I would want to see.” Kelly announced earlier in the week her plans to start a family with fellow JKP director, Julian, sometime next year.
Kelly also feels the timing is appropriate in that each of her contract girls can relate to their chatacters at this time in their lives. “Jenna [Haze] has gone through a total change of life recently in that her popularity has just skyrocketed. She’s now this super star she never really thought that she’d become. The differences between the manican and the model in ‘Passion Designer’ are similar to the differences between the porn star and the real person. It’s about the fantasy versus reality and which of those people fall in love with most.”
Director Toni English even penned the “Fools for Love” script specifically for Star E. Knight, who recently split from fellow performer Lee Stone. “I think when working with people who don’t have extensive acting background, its good to keep the characters in line with something they can relate to,” explains English. “I got to know Star when I directed her in JKP’s ‘Out of Control’ and found that she’s had a succession of bad relationships. It’s easy to say, ‘Well, it’s just the guys,’ but it’s more difficult to look at why one contiues to pick guys that are wrong for them. I think that tends to be a common issue amongst women and we wanted to explore that together. … It’s also about the most unlikely guy for you becoming the man of your dreams, so it really poses the question of love being a mathematical equation or just plain fate.”
Jill Kelly Productions will also shoot two wall-to-wall sexvids, “Natural Wonders” and “Perfect Pink 13: On the Wild Side” later in the month. Both will be directed by Julian on July 17th and 18th. Julian last helmed JKP’s “Adult Movie,” which was later nominated for AVN’s “Best sex Comedy” award.
