(VAN NUYS, CA) — In a statement issued today, Jeff Krull, Director of PHE Wholesale & Licensing and Head of Adam & Eve Interactive DVD, announces the special DVD Twin Set release of the immensely successful high-budget feature, Simon Wolf’s A WOLF’S TAIL… second in THE TAIL’S Trilogy being created for Adam & Eve by The Simon Wolf Organization. This will be released on September 27th.
"Several months ago, we first watched the most incredible opening I’ve ever seen on a DVD – the eerily haunting animated sequence in which a huge wolf howls beside the castle in a blinding rain storm, then leads viewers down an ancient, torch-lit corridor into the main menu. And mind you, this is full animation. Very few mainstream DVD’s deliver this level of quality, although I’m not the least bit surprised to find it coming from Simon’s DVD Division. You must also see the special moving menus they’ve created – each section on the second DVD packed with more bonus material than is found on most entire DVD’s."
Commenting on the special effects created for the feature, Krull was equally enthusiastic. "Simon Wolf is a perfectionist in everything he does, and the special effects his people have developed for A WOLF’S TAIL are truly awesome – they are real!"
The reclusive Simon Wolf was not around for comment, but Robert Herrera, Production Chief for Simon Wolf Productions shared Krull’s enthusiasm for their new production. "We all felt very good about the success garnered by A WITCH’S TAIL, our first feature in THE TAIL’S Trilogy, and A WOLF’S TAIL tops it several times over in terms of sex, cast, production value, special effects and story; but then, we spent considerably more money to create it. Simon is a great believer in the COUPLES market, and every element he builds into these features is directed at this rapidly expanding demographic."
Krull also acknowledged Wolf’s expertise in story development. "Simon’s stories reflect his basic belief in good conquering over evil, which he expertly weaves to enhance the sexuality his features consistently deliver. This is one of the reasons why A WOLF’S TAIL has broken every record on television – his work greatly appeals to the huge worldwide audience now demanding that mainstream quality be served with their sex."
Praising the recent acceptance and glowing reviews of Adam & Eve’s APPASSIONATA DVD Twin Set, Krull attributes a significant portion of its success to Simon Wolf. "As a personal favor to Asia Carrera and myself, Simon and his people developed the first twin set ever distributed in the adult marketplace, and the creativity he and Asia brought to the APPASSIONATA DVD’s knows no equal."
When asked to comment on Simon Wolf’s next two big-budget features for Adam & Eve, BEAUTY AND THE BITCH and A DEVIL’S TAIL, Herrera acknowledged the huge amount of special effects work each is undergoing in post-production. "The rough-cuts on each of these productions have required two full months; then another three have been spent creating and perfecting the special effects – and A DEVIL’S TAIL still isn’t finished. Simon is determined that his conclusion to THE TAIL’S Trilogy will far surpass anything he’s developed to date."
Is Simon Wolf is a perfectionist? Herrera grins. "Simon is the most demanding SOB that Simon’s ever worked for."
