(HIGHTSTOWN, NJ) — The popular sequel to 1999 AVN Best Film of the Year, Looker, has fans not just turning heads but opening wallets.
Yes it’s that good! Back in May this year, Pleasure announced their intended release of the much-awaited sequel to Nic Cramer’s award winner. Pleasure executives were excited then at the potential it posed for boosting video sales. They were not disappointed.
In a September 6th press release, Pleasure confirmed their hunch by announcing "[Looker 2] sales figures are on track to beat out the original Looker and Penetrator 2, now ranking at first and second respectively in the all-time best seller list here at Pleasure Productions." In fact, Looker 2 was so popular that it had earned a perennial spot in AVN’s weekly top 10 selling titles back in the summer months. Re-order numbers are still impressive to this date.
Looker 2 is up for several nominations in the upcoming January AVN awards show including Best Director-Film, Best Actress-Film, Best Supporting Actress-Film, Best Couples Anal Scene-Film, Best Couples Sex Scene and Best Cinematography.
AVN is not the only body to nominate Looker 2 in the Best Film category. The Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) has also nominated Looker 2 in their award for Adult Title of the Year.
