(BURBANK, CA) — Tim Pyle has made a career out of CG animation, working on Hollywood projects such as Jimmy Neutron and Starship Troopers the Series. Now he’s approaching the adult entertainment industry for his next project: An independent science fiction film.

Pyle is looking for additional funding to produce Pathosis, a 90 minute indie film. The film is budgeted to include a large number of CG special effects, but no sex or nudity. Nevertheless, Pyle thinks producing the film through the adult industry would be ideal.

"There are many adult stars who have excellent acting abilities," said Pyle. "Casting them would be a great promotional hook for the film, plus give the actors a chance to show off their other talents."

Pyle’s production team is working from an original sci-fi script. Special effects animation is fully funded and has already begun production. He’s currently looking for $50K to produce the live-action elements, to be filmed in Los Angeles on a spaceship set.

Tim Pyle is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. His work on the miniseries Children of Dune won a 2003 Emmy for Best Visual Effects. To view a sample 30-second video of special effects for the film, visit: TimPyle.com/pathosis
