(VAN NUYS, CA) — Tera Vision, the film production company owned by adult superstar Tera Patrick, has signed an exclusive two-year contract with Vivid Entertainment Group. Under terms of the deal, Ms. Patrick will star in at least three films for Vivid, beginning in the first quarter of 2004, and she will become a Vivid Girl.
“Tera is a woman of remarkable style and grace,” said Vivid co-founder and partner Steven Hirsch, “She is the hottest adult actress who is not already a Vivid Girl and I believe that by joining us she rounds out a group that is the best in the history of the company.”
A former international fashion model with classic Eurasian bone structure, all-natural curves perfectly distributed on a 5’9″ figure and a sultry voice, Ms. Patrick began her journey in adult movies in 1999. She has won numerous honors for her adult film work including the AVN Award for Best New Starlet in 2000 and the Hot d’or Award for “The Best New American Starlet” at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. She has also hosted the popular “Nightcalls 411” program for Playboy Television and has been on dozens of mainstream entertainment shows. She will also be seen in an upcoming reality TV show tentatively titled “Vivid World,” which is being produced by World of Wonder. The program will be broadcast in 2004, first in the U.K. on British Sky Broadcasting and Channel Four, and then on a U.S. outlet.
Being of both Thai and English descent, Ms. Patrick spent her early years in San Francisco. She studied nursing and once considered going on to become a doctor. Instead, she had early success in magazine modeling before becoming an instant sensation after being featured as a Penthouse Pet in a photo shoot released in February 2000. In March 2002 she became the only woman ever to appear on the covers of Penthouse and Playboy simultaneously.
Ms. Patrick began acting in adult movies because “It turned me on to think I would be having sex and a lot of men would be watching me. I like a man who is aggressive. I am very submissive when it comes to satisfying men’s desires. I like a guy who knows how to have really hard sex, but then knows how to make love also.”
