(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Prolific AVN Award winning writer George Kaplan (2001 "Watchers" with Michael Raven) has been fighting cabin fever created by the general production doldrums currently effecting the industry by appearing in front of the cameras again after a years’ hiatus.
Since January he has appeared in no less than 7 shows for the equally prolific Director/Writer Cash Markman: Sin in the City; partly shot on location in Las Vegas on the convention floor; reprising his role as famed inebriate Harlan Harklestein; Sex for Sale, as cross dressing porn director Cha Cha Le Che (in full drag!); Smut Peddlers; Jane Millionaire for JKP; Legends of Porn, and the 3-D productions Naked Truth and Dark Dimensions for Diamond Coast Entertainment, all alongside the infamous and hysterically funny Dick Smothers, Jr.
He’s also appears in (and wrote) the comedy Truck Stop Trixie with Sunset Thomas for Director Jane Hamilton and VCA., Beautiful and Blue Rain (for Wicked) with Kaylani Lei for Michael Raven (co-writing both along with the director), Andre Madness’ Deviant Behavior and Red Ezra’s Impact for Metro. He’s also been tapped to appear in Director Nic Andrews’ next feature reportedly scheduled (but yet to be confirmed) to shoot the end of June for Digital Playground.
He’s also been busy at the computer hunt-and-pecking Masterpiece for Director Bud Lee, Stormy Romance for Director Wesley Emerson and Black Mask Productions, Love Struck for Michael Raven and Wicked Pictures, Teacher’s Pet 6 for Multimedia, and the latest My Baby Got Back for Video Team. He’s also been tapped to write some projects for Digital G.
Robert Lombard, Director of Talent and Marketing for Digital G says, "I have always admired George Kaplan’s work and I look forward to brining his creative talents into the fold of Digital G. His writings will allow our director, Jimmy D to bring Kaplan’s vision to life".
