(HIGHTSTOWN, NJ) — Pleasure Productions today announced its intention to introduce their new Pop-Shot On Demand (POD) function for their line of DVDs at the AEE show in January.
Pleasure Productions has taken the initiative to provide users the added convenience of the POD function for their upcoming DVD releases. Users are given the ability to toggle the POD icon on or off in the main menu before playing the movie. When the function is turned on, it allows the user to jump immediately to the pop-shot/money-shot of the scene currently playing.
Pleasure Productions has applied for both a trademark relative to the POD logo and icon, and a patent on the specific techniques and technology involved with their new POD function with the Us Trademark and Patent Office.
Aside from the POD function, the new line of Pleasure DVDs will now have an added feature in the main menu called Choose Your Pleasure. Choose Your Pleasure is basically chapter selection taken to the next level. This function allows the user instant access to specific sex acts or positions of a particular scene in the movie. Examples of choices are oral, straight, anal and cumshot.
Pleasure will be using DVD 9s in producing their new line. This means their DVDs have more data storage which translate to high quality video transfers and better picture. Some feature titles will also include never-before-seen behind the scene footage.
"Our new line of DVDs feature several unique elements that enhance the interactivity of our titles. Although these added features raised our production costs, we have decided to absorb the extra encoding costs and not pass it on to our customers. Pleasure Productions is dedicated to increasing the quality and value of our DVDs!" says Andy Green, Pleasure’s Operation/Production Manager.

Some scheduled titles to release with the new functions are Outlaw’s popular urban ethnic series, Mr. Bigg and his Bitches and Pleasure’s Savage Security starring contract girl, Gina Lynn. The first batch of DVDs should release in January.
