(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Patrick Collins has just agreed to a 12 picture/1 year, exclusive directing deal with director Axel Braun. Axel is the son of legendary pornographer Lasse Braun, notable not only for his ground-breaking directing style, but also for helping the legalization of pornography in many parts of Europe.
Growing up in this environment sparked an interest in the adult entertainment world, as well as an interest in human nature for his son Axel. Axel grew up in Italy, where he majored in psychology in college, then, in the late 80’s moved to Hollywood to attend film school. Working with his father as an assistant director, writer, producer, cameraman, and editor, Axel gained knowledge in every aspect of the business.
In 1995 Axel founded his own independent production company: “Axel Braun Productions”. His first movie, “The Adventures of the G-Man”, was the first installment of a series so successful that it brought much acclaim to the young director in his home country of Italy. In this series, Axel displayed his fondness for what later became his signature fetish: Female Ejaculation. His first American break came in 1997 with “The Book of Lust”, followed by “Sexcape” in 1998.
After several other movies that were well received and often critically acclaimed in Europe, Axel continued producing his own titles and selling the rights to various companies (his latest feature, “Euro Nymphs” got 4 stars and a Spotlight Pick on AVN).

Axel is also very excited to be working with Elegant Angel, and feels as though he has found a new home. “I’ve known Patrick Collins for years, and I’ve always respected him as a person. Axel is currently working on his first film for Elegant Angel, called “The Bachelorette”, a quirky feature that he wrote about a girl about to get married, and the doubts that she encounters through her many different sexual experiences. His cast includes, among others, Inari Vachs, Nikita Denise and Syren, and he is not only directing, but editing, writing, and creating the music for this film.
