(CANNES, France) — Danni Ashe, the only person whose image has been downloaded more than a billion times, has flown to Cannes to announce the upcoming release of her autobiography and the launch of a line of videos and DVDs.

The as-yet-untitled autobiography will cover Ashe’s life, from 17 year-old stripper with fake ID, through a life-changing arrest on stage and onto becoming the founder and CEO of the world-famous Danni.com. She now speaks at Internet conferences worldwide and lends her expertise to the U.S. government on protecting minors online.

“The book will be an inspirational story of a high-school dropout turned entrepreneur, an inside account of the World Wide Web’s expansion and a titillating expose on the world of strip clubs and nude modeling. A story I hope can some day be adapted to the screen,” said Ashe.

The new “Danni.com” line of videos and DVDs is based on material originally produced for Ashe’s Internet company, Danni’s Hard Drive. The material is being released in two separate lines, one focused on the many famous adult personalities who’ve appeared on Danni.com, and another focusing on her Web site’s renowned naked parodies, jokes and “Virtual Lap Dances.”

“There’s been a tremendous demand for offline access to our video archive. I look forward to sharing Danni.com‘s special brand of naked humor with an even larger audience,” commented Ashe.

Danni’s first titles will appear on video, DVD and several American pay-per-view outlets this July. Foreign distribution rights are still available.

Ashe will be in Cannes from May 14 till May 19.

Ashe is one of the preeminent female Internet CEOs and has been featured on the front page and covers of such American media institutions as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Industry Standard and eCompany Now.

Time, U.S. News & World Report and Yahoo! Internet Life, among others, have also featured Ashe in their pages. She has testified before congressional committees regarding Internet issues and speaks worldwide on streaming technology, marketing and convergence.

Danni.com, a soft adult content entertainment site, is owned and operated by Danni Ashe. Created by Ashe herself in 1995 with $8,000 worth of computer equipment and a crash study in the HTML Manual of Style, the site and its creator have been the focus of numerous articles focusing on the fact that she and the popularity of her site provide one of the few Web-based business models for consistent growth and profitability.
