APHSS – Performer Subsidy Fund – We need your address! Dear APHSS participant, Recently APHSS.org (operated by FSC) was enlisted by Manwin to administer the Performer Subsidy Fund (PSF). Production company Manwin initiated PSF to help subsidize costs for performer testing.
Starting August 1, 2012, all performers that are signed up for APHSS and have tested in the month of August will receive a subsidy check by mid-September.
You do not need to have worked with Manwin to receive the subsidy. Any active performers that are signed up for APHSS and that submit to monthly STI testing will be subsidized.
Manwin has contributed the amount of $50,000 for the month of August and will contribute the same amount monthly, through December. Other producers are encouraged to contribute to the fund. The total contribution amount will be divided equally among performers that fill the requirements for the PSF program; monthly subsidy amounts will vary, depending on how many tests are processed each month.
Subsidy checks can only be issued to performers, under their legal name and who have sent FSC/APHSS their address. To receive a September subsidy check, please send your legal name (that is on your APHSS account) and a mailing address to Julie@freespeechcoalition.com. You also may call (818) 348-9373 to submit your mailing address.
Name and address information will be stored in a separate secured database as an extra precaution to protect performer privacy.
