(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Dynasty Group Distribution inked its first exclusive contract with critically acclaimed and storied Golden Age studio ‘Taboo’ Producer Standard Digital.
Standard Digital produced the first six volumes of the ”Taboo” series, recognized as one of adult’s best X-rated titles. Legendary director Kirdy Stevens directed the first five; the sixth edition was helmed by Orson Welles collaborator Robert McCallum. Produced in the late ’70s to mid ’80s, the feature films centered on incestuous families and forbidden relationships that consistently placed on critics lists of must-see Golden Age titles. The first movie landed on the top 25 of AVN’s 101 Greatest Adult Tapes of All Time. Additional titles in the Standard Digital library, ”the Animal in Me,” ”Playing with Fire” and ”Daisy Chain,” will also be handled by Dynasty Group Distribution.

Islas, the former head of Standard Digital’s last exclusive distributor, Addictive Entertainment, sees continued growth in the classics market.
