(TORRANCE, CA) — The annual Bowling for Scholars (aka 40 Ladies for 40 Lanes) event, sponsored by the Southern California Video Software Dealers Association and the Protecting Adult Welfare (PAW) Foundation, held on May 28th saw an enthusiastic turn-out of fans and personalities. Proceeds benefit scholastic funds for students working in the adult industry, as well as non-industry grant applicants.
More than 55 adult performers appeared, most clad only in thongs and bowling shoes, to participate in the popular fundraiser. As the evening rolled on, fans were afforded the opportunity to meet and take photos with their favorite stars, as bowlers worked on their spare shots, tried to find just the right balls and figured out how to keep score.
Hardcore diva Belladonna teamed up with Naudia Nice on the very last alley, but a constant crowd kept them from getting their game on. “I love the fans,” said Belladonna, looking spectacular only six months after giving birth to baby daughter Myla. “Without them, I wouldn’t be here.” Commenting on how she has returned to the event for several years, Belladonna added, “I love being naked and I love bowling, so… “
On the next lane, Brandi Mae was busy between taking turns bowling and joining with Belladonna and Nice for some playful and sexy poses. Mae later joined Angella Faith a few lanes down for an impromptu toy show, much to the delight of fans and photographers alike.
Newcomer and Black Widow contract girl Malou, a delightful Danish import, has been in the U.S. For only two months. “I hate bowling,” she said, but enjoyed posing with actress Kelly Erikson.
Cousin Stevie, of HBO’s Family Matters fame, was in attendance with his lovely wife Anne and happy to support the charity event. “Why not?” he said. “I’m lucky enough to have a TV show. It gives me a chance to give something back.” Other performers on hand that night included Kelly Nichols, Lori Wagner, Ami Charms, Victoria Givens, Lady Victoria Spencer, Flower Tucci, Cannibal, Avy Scott, Brandy Iron, Tricia Oaks and Serena Sin (who wore matching knee socks), Mariposa, Sarah Blake, Justine Joli, Brooke Hunter, Cheidza, Layla Jade, Jenny Hendricks, Becca Bratt, Daphne Rosen, Kayla Quinn, Vicky Vette, Lisa Daniels, April Storm, Brooklyn Night, Christie Lee, Don Hollywood, Erica More, Lexxi Tyler, Linda Robert, Lisa Daniels, Promise, Rebecca Love, Shy Love, Sunshine Lynn, Tee Reel, Tiana Lynn, Traci Lynn, Landi Wilson, Dru Berrymore, Jennifer James, Heather Dorsey, Jack Spade, Yuni Lee, Dallas Lane and Lina Porsson.
Afterwards, industry legend and PAW founder Bill Margold commented, “It gets better and better every year. Each year, we basically double the amount of money (made from the previous year).” He estimated $2500 was made for student funding. “Next year,” Margold added, “we’re billing it as ‘Forty Ladies, for Forty Lanes, for Forty Dollars.”
