(WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Adhearing to the XRCO’s motto “Doing it Right”—and in honor of the X-Rated Critics Organization’s 20th anniversary (its first awards show was held on Valentine’s Day, 1995), co-founder William Margold bestowed a Fifth Estate Hall of Fame “Heart-On” to Sharon Liebowitz, widow of the XRCO’s late production manager, benefactor and friend, Bill Liebowitz. The presentation was made at the Golden Apple Comic Store on Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood.
“Big” Bill, who passed away last October “Was an invaluable member of the XRCO family, selflessly and generously coming to the organization’s aid during its early, somewhat unsure of itself, years” stated Margold, who has assumed “The XRCO’s historical insight position” with the loss of Jim Holliday last December.
“From now on, I’ll be doing it ‘even righter’ in regards to the XRCO Hall of Fame, with no more than three, and in some years possibly only one Adult Industry entity being added to the roster that Holliday took such great pride in, continued Margold, who concluded by noting that “Jim is back in the XRCO’s Fifth Estate list that appears in the annual Adam Film World Directory, as he should be!”
