(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Mary Carey & Army Corporal to Protest Military’s Free Boob Jobs in Front of Recruiting Station in Hollywood.

Date: Wednesday, August 18, 2004

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Place: Armed Forces Recruiting Center (Northeast corner of Sunset & LA Brea)

Event: “Bullets not Boobs” Protest Rally & Press Conference

Who: “Bullets not Boobs” is a protest movement opposing the U.S. Military’s offer of free boob jobs and other plastic surgery as a recruiting tool. It is sponsored by porn star & former gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey in conjunction with Kick Ass Pictures, the local adult video company that has a “no fake breasts” guarantee on every movie it releases.

What: At the climax of the rally at 11:00 am, Mary Carey and Kick Ass Pictures President Mark Kulkis will award a giant check for $500 to former Army Specialist E-4 Jennifer Zandstra, who was honorably discharged two weeks ago. The check, along with an additional gift certificate for $500 in high-end lingerie, will be presented to Mrs. Zandstra in front of an Armed Forces Recruiting Center as a reward for not allowing the U.S. Government to disfigure her at the taxpayers’ expense.

Jennifer Zandstra is the first of several honorably discharged female soldiers in line to receive the “Bullets not Boobs” award from Kick Ass Pictures. Zandstra will be flying in from her home town in Texas to participate in the rally. Zandstra, who was once stationed in Kuwait, is against the military’s free plastic surgery policy. She feels the Army is wasting taxpayers’ money on frivolous expenses and would like to do her part in bringing awareness to this serious issue.

“Our military is setting a bad example for young women,” said all-natural Mary Carey. “I understand that the armed services are desperate for new recruits given the current situation in Iraq. But as a taxpayer and a woman, I refuse to sit back and allow my money to be spent on disfiguring American women.”
